Reviewing interests: Pharmacogenomics of drug response, immune-mediated adverse drug reactions, cancer and personalized therapy, implementation of personalised medicine into the clinic

Dr. Lim is a medical oncologist with clinical and research interests in lung cancer and cancers of the head and neck (in particular nasopharyngeal carcinoma). He is currently a senior consultant in Division of Medical Oncology, National Cancer Centre Singapore, Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, and a Senior Principal Investigator, IMCB, A*STAR. He is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, and past Chair of the Chapter of Medical Oncologists. To date, he has published over 100 peer-reviewed research papers some of which are in high impact journals, e.g. Nature, Nature Medicine, PNAS, Clinical Cancer Research etc.

His research focuses on clinical trials in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and lung cancer, incorporating correlative studies into studying the biology of resistance and immune response, and the development of circulating biomarkers of response and toxicity.
